Aaron Doerr, fellow Musician, is available for the private study of Music through guitar.
One-hour lessons stress vocabulary building, songbook creation, self- assessment of goals and time & resource management.
Aaron hosts jam sessions for his students on occasional Saturday afternoons and hosts a semi-monthly open-mic-style Student Showcase at a local venue.
After a six-year employment at a local guitar shop and lesson studio in Webster Groves as full-time Instructor and Band Leader, Aaron has been operating as “Fellow Musician” teaching lessons at his professional practice studio and is officially certified by the state and federal offices as a limited liability corporation (LLC) since 2010.
Skilled in audio aesthetics, having earned a B.S. in Audio Engineering from Webster University in 2003, Aaron has been working part-time as Production Assistant for St. Louis Public Radio since 2003.
Aaron is a pit guitarist for New Line Theatre and has been playing once or twice every season with the company and the band there since 2011. Aaron occasionally volunteers as a session musician for various projects and community outreach and enjoys private studies in improvisation and looping.
His jazz teachers at Webster University and UM-St. Louis include Tom Byrne, Dave Black, Jim Widner & Bob Borgsteade.
